We appreciate your referrals and enjoy working closely with you to ensure the best possible care for your patients.

We encourage you to download our referral forms and fax them to us with your client and patient’s information. This will help to assure that the appointment is scheduled efficiently and appropriately. With this form in advance, the client is able to schedule with us directly, or we are happy to contact the client ourselves. Please include medical records and labwork with the completed referral form.

If a case is urgent and you feel evaluation is needed the same day, please call and one of our internists will contact you prior to transfer of the patient. If you have an urgent case after hours, please contact Animal Emergency Care Center North at (719) 260-7141. If the client authorizes, the patient may be transfer to us from AECC the following morning. The client should be present at transfer in the morning to meet with our doctors.

If you would like to discuss a case with one of our internists prior to referral, or to refer by phone, call (719) 272-4004. Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

If you would like our Internist to review radiographs for a patient, please use the Radiograph Referral forms to provide a brief background of the case.

Our front staff also schedules appointments for consultations and soft tissue surgeries with Dr. Michelle Morgan, Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
